I graduated with a Double Degree in Economics and Psychology from Singapore Management University (Summa cum Laude). With an inquisitive mind and an interest in these two disparate disciplines, I continuously seek extensive knowledge in these areas. Amalgamating these concepts into my daily life, in studies, trading and work, has been particularly rewarding.

I once had a strong desire to pursue further studies in Psychology or Behavioural Economics and I spent most of my time sharpening my skill sets to enter academia. I took part in countless workshops and taking up research work during university in an attempt to do so.

A deep soul searching during my third year in university made me realise that this attraction towards a PhD will need to come with corporate experience.

In my free time, I enjoy playing mentally stimulating games such as Boggle and any sort of puzzles as a break from work. Culinary Arts, Music (including singing) and Intellectual Sports are my favourite past-times that drives my inspiration for the week ahead.

No, it's not just typing or knowing the different fonts. There's formatting, arranging and designing too!

I really love cool and interesting powerpoint presentations filled with stunning designs, animations and transitions. Sometimes, I'm amazed myself too!

Love the use of Excel to solve business problems and to employ the use of Excel in my daily life such as that of budgeting, managing constraints and repetitive calculations! I would say I'm really great at Excel and any problem can be solved with excel!

I'm really interested in the world of Finance and how companies' performance correlate with the economic indicators. How exciting and Bloomberg provides all these at your fingertips! Just a little tad expensive though.
